Baal Vidya Vihar School was established on June 1, 1970, in the memory of Barve Education Society’s late Bhagini Chandrabai R. Karkhanis. After 28 glorious years of establishment of the New English High School, the primary school was founded in 1970, with an earnest hope of moulding the students in the best way possible for higher education and let the ever progressing New English School reach great heights. 

Baal Vidya Vihar was founded by late respectable Sir Kedarnathji with the help of late Ambadasji and late Sir Mhapankar, in the memory of his loving niece, late Bhagini Chandrabai Karkhanis. We, at Baal Vidya Vihar organize many activities and events for the all round development of your child. Our School not only focuses on the academic growth of our students but also on their cultural growth. Events like the birth and death anniversaries of our great leaders, our National holidays and festivals, n number of art and sports competitions, annual day, are held all round the year. We encourage our children to participate in many taluka and district level tournaments, be it academic, arts or athletics. We motivate them to participate in various newspaper organized competitions. We guide them and teach them everything that is necessary to win, but at the same time teach them to accept failures and do even better the next time. We try to cultivate in them the hobby of reading. We encourage them to participate in Government organized social events like the education rally, tree planting ceremonies, etc. We, at school try to make a dutiful and responsible citizen out of our students.

We are delighted when we say that many of our students have excelled in their endeavours. Today, so many of our students have made their names and earned respect in different industries, be it dance, theatre, music, sports, art and so on. Our students have succeeded in scholarship examinations. The school has taught many generations and it has given the society some precious and priceless gems.

The school started its Semi- English classes from the year 2009. Similarly, English language is now introduced to the students from the junior kg and senior kg. There is a slide, a see-saw, a set of swings for our little youngsters due to which they enjoy being in school! We have received a great response from the parents for our Semi- English classes. And it’s because of all these reasons, because of all our students, that the year 2019-2020 was celebrated as the Golden Jubilee year! Last but not the least, we wish and we pray that may the hymn of enlightenment remain unintrerrupted
